4th Light Armor (Masigasig) Battalion Coastal Clean-Up Drive

Environmental degradation is said to be one of the main problem of our society. We cannot deny the fact that our coastal areas are already polluted due to human malpractices.

On 26 September 2010, as we celebrate the 10th International Coastal Clean-Up Drive, the Masigasigs of the Headquarters Service Company, together with the students of Central College of Calauag polished the Coastal area at Pinagtaleran, Calauag, Quezon.

The same activity was also conducted on 28 September 2010 at Poblacion, Guinayangan, Quezon with the help of the 201st Brigade personnel, Baranagay Kagawad of Poblacion, Guinayangan, Quezon; Guintoda; Guardians and other High School and Elementary Students.

Clean-Up Drive was a joint project of the Municipal Health Office and Sanguniang Bayan Committee on Environmental Protection and Committee Health, Poblacion, Guinayangan, Quezon.

Feeding & Gift Giving Activity for Sitio Matahimik

In connection with the 27th founding anniversary celebration of 4th Light Armor (Masigasig) Battalion to be held on 18 September 2010, your MASIGASIG TROOPERS conducted the FEEDING and GIFT GIVING ACTIVITY on 15 September 2010. Led by LTC RUFINO G RAMORAN JR, CAV (GSC) PA, 4LAB extended their benevolence to the less fortunate families of Sitio Matahimik, Brgy Cotta, Lucena City.

The activity started with a brief, substancial and inspiring message from a very supportive Brgy Capt. Hon Hermilando J Alcala Jr. and Representatives from Government and Non-government Organizations who made the activity possible.  Also present during the activity are the representatives from the Office of Representative Alcala, 2nd District, Quezon; Metro Lucena City Rotary Club; Rotary Club, Lucena City South; JCI-Jaycees, Lucena City; Saint Jude Multi Purpose Cooperative; and La Suerte Feedmill Incorporated.

The second part of the activity was the feeding of more than 250 undernourished children. Afterwards, the troopers distributed re-packed 4 sacks of rice with a bundle of toothbrush and toothpaste which serve as an advance gift for them.

The program successfully ended with great smiles of the children and their parents.This commemorative moment build a strong, united, and harmonious relationship among soldiers and civilians.

Blood Letting Activity at H4LAB, LAD, PA on 01 September 2010

On 01 September 2010, Masigasig Troopers once again extended their support to the Phil. National Red Cross, Lucena City Chapter through the conduct of Blood Letting Activity at H4LAB with Ms Ma Theresa F Jael, RMT, Lucena City Chapter representative and other volunteers of PNRC. Twenty Five (25) Enlisted Personnel donated their precious blood with a total of 11,250 cc collected.

FRIENDLY BASKETBALL GAME

        As part of the activities during the Friendly Basketball Games initiated by Team SOLCOM and the Office of the Provincial Governor on 24 August 2010 at Quezon Convention Center, Lucena City is the Static Display of our Armor Assets using Commando V150 and Simba Fighting Vehicle (SFV), display of equipment and armaments of Special Forces  (A) Battalion, K-9 Unit, QPPO and the Friendly Basketball Games from the Team SOLCOM AFP, Team Phil. Army (Men), Team Phil Army (Women), Gov Suarez Team (Men), Gov Suarez Team (Women) and Team Fathers.

4LAB Operation "Linis" at MCES

Once again, your Masigasig Troopers extended their support to one of its adopted school, the Mayao Castillo Elementary School (MCES) at Brgy Mayao, Lucena City on 07 August 2010. The Masigasig troopers worked hand in hand with the PTA members in cleaning the school premises in preparation for their upcoming activities.

4LAB Blood Letting Activity - 20 July 2010



Donating blood is one of the most important, selfless, and humanitarian act that a human can do and it doesn't cost a penny. 


On 20 July 2010, a Blood Letting Activity spearheaded by Ms Ma Theresa F Jael, RMT, Lucena City Chapter Service representative was held at  Headquarters, 4th Light Armor Battalion, LAD. The Masigasigs donated 8,550cc of blood to help the PNRC's blood bank reserve which indeed is a long way in saving the lives of our brothers in times of crisis.
