Last December 12, 2009, the Masigasig troopers initiated the conduct of a Free Medical and Dental Mission as part of their three-day year end activities for Calendar Year 2009 at the Mayao Castillo Elementary School, Lucena City. It was originally planned to cater only the students of their adopted school. However, the students requested that they be allowed to bring with them their parents, relatives and grandparents to avail also of the free medical and dental services including free medicines. It was a very fulfilling activity since it was conducted during the Christmas Season.
The activity has not been a success without the support of the Proud Friends of 4LAB composed of the following:

- Task Force Lucena, 201st Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Philippine Army
Two Hundred Six (206) patients for medical consultations and treatments, and fifty six (56) patients for dental check-up and tooth extractions have benefited from the activity..
