The 4th Light Armor (Masigasig) Battalion and 1st Special Forces Battalion conducted a Medical and Dental Mission on 28 June 2011 at the Brgy Hall of Brgy Apasan, Sampaloc, Quezon. Through the support of SMART Communications-Lucena City, Small Town Lottery (STL)- Lucena, Board Member Ferdinand Talabong and Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) doctors headed by CPT MERVIN VIADOY and MAJ INOCENCIO SANTOS, residents from Brgy Apasan availed the free medicines, medical checkups and tooth extraction. The free services have benefited 200 residents of the barangay headed by the Brgy Chairman Fidel Dayo. Included is free haircut to the residents of the barangay. They came and approach us with a smile which is enough to inspire us to work harder for a better community.
